ACL Technical Specifications

The ACL suit of solutions support the following Server and Client configurations.  Both minimum configurations and Satori Group recommended architectural configurations are provided.

Please note that these configurations are dependent on data volumes and may require the system to be specified higher / lower.

ACL Desktop v9.1

Minimum System Requirements:

• Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition (SP1), Microsoft Windows XP (SP3), Microsoft Windows 7
• Pentium 2.0-gigahertz (GHz) processor or faster.
• Minimum 1 gigabyte (GB) of RAM or higher
• 150MB hard drive space (80GB recommended) for application files and data files. Note: Significant additional disk space may be required to store data extracts, flat files, results, and audit archives.
• DVD-ROM drive (not required if you are using the web download option).
• TCP/IP connectivity.

Other related Component Requirements:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
• Windows Installer 2.0 or higher.
• MDAC 2.8 SP1 or higher.
• MSJet 4.0 SP3 or higher.
• MSXML 4.0 SP1 or higher

Satori Group recommended Requirements

• Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition (SP1), Microsoft Windows XP (SP3), Microsoft Windows 7
• Pentium 2.3-gigahertz (GHz) processor or faster.
• Minimum 4 gigabyte (GB) of RAM or higher
• 30GB hard drive space (80GB recommended) for application files and data files. Note: Significant additional disk space may be required to store data extracts, flat files, results, and audit archives.
• TCP/IP connectivity.

 ACL AuditExchange

Minimum Server Requirements

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003/8 Release 1 (Service Pack 1) or later
  • Standard or Enterprise Edition
  • 32 bit or 64 bit Version
• Dual core processor at 2.5GHz or higher
• 4GB of RAM
• 1GB of disk space for AuditExchange application components (Additional Disk Space required for data extracts, results and archives)
• DVD-ROM drive (if not installing from web download)
• TCP/IP connectivity for online software activation

Satori Group recommended Requirements

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003/8 Release 1 (Service Pack 1) or later
• Standard or Enterprise Edition
• 32 bit or 64 bit Version
• Dual core processor at 2.5GHz or higher
• 8GB of RAM (min), 24 GB if using Windows Enterprise Edition
• 300GB of disk space for AuditExchange application components (Additional Disk Space required for data extracts, results and archives)
• RAID 1+0 Hard Drive Configuration (SCSI if permitting)

Databases supported

• In addition to the various file formats supported by ACL eg: PDF, txt, print format, ACCPAC, ODBC, Audit Exchange has native SQL support for the following databases ;
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (32 bit) Standard and Enterprise Editions
  • Oracle
  • IBM DB2
• The native SQL has added advantages in speed and processing over that of ODBC
• In addition, the Audit Exchange ETL component has further connectors to over 50 different applications and data formats
